Mangalayatan University has been created under "The Mangalayatan University, Uttar Pradesh Act, 2006". Manglayatan University Campus Located at Extended NCR, 33rd Milestone,Mathura-Aligarh Highway Beswan, Aligarh-202145 (U.P) Mangalayatan University (MU) Aligarh, a member of Association of Indian Universities (AIU), All programs offered by MU have regulatory approval by authorities like UGC, DEB, AICTE, National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Bar Council of India (BCI), and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). The University delivers a quality educational experience leading to rewarding career opportunities to all students.
Mangalayatan University was awarded the Excellence in Training & Placement Award by Elets Technomedia and “Extraordinary Performer” Award by ASMA.. MU Aligarh offers various degree and research programs in Engineering, Basic Sciences, Agriculture, Management, Pharmacy, Journalism, Fine Arts, Humanities, Education, Hospitality Management and Legal Studies.
Mangalayatan University has 250+ members of faculty of which 140+ have research qualifications, and 80+ hail from universities outside Uttar Pradesh. Faculty at the university is led by 11 former Vice-Chancellors, former Chairman of UGC and Vice Chairman of AICTE. Many of them are with Advanced Degrees from the IIT’s, NIT’s, Top US Universities and other high-quality institutions. The faculty is known for its leadership in education. They are the most distinguished scholars, who constantly do research in their respective fields.

Mangalayatan University has been created under the “Mangalayatan University, Uttar Pradesh Act” and notified by the Government of Uttar Pradesh as Act No. 32 of 2006, by its Gazette No. 362/VII-V-1-1(Ka)-12/2006 dated October 30, 2006, with the right to confer degrees under section (2f) and 22(1) of the UGC Act.

Mangalayatan University Aligarh is entitled by the University Grants Commission (UGC) to offer online degree programs. Additionally, our programs are approved by AICTE.
NATIONAL ASSESSMENT AND ACCREDITATION COUNCIL (NAAC) - GRADE A+
Mangalayatan University is awarded Grade A+ by coveted National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in the first cycle of accreditation for its high academic quality, including education, research, and extension. The University scored a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.34 on a 4 point scale.
