Description
B.Com is a three-year UG degree course recognised by the Universities Grants Commission (UGC). Students can pursue B.Com programmes as Distance BCom, or Online BCom. BCom courses are one of the most popular courses amongst the Class 12 graduates with the Commerce stream.
BCom Subjects include Financial Accounting, Business Laws, Economics, Taxation, Auditing, and Cost Accounting, among others. With a BCom degree, one gets an option to start a career in related fields such as Finance, Accounting, Banking, Insurance, etc.
BCom degree serves as a good foundation for both these programmes. BCom can also prove to be a stepping stone for those students who wish to succeed in Business Management or Commerce. Students can also go for higher studies and opt MCom. The need for applicants with a bachelor's degree in Commerce has grown over time in both the public and private employment sectors.
